A striking and rather unique, vintage statement piece designed by Maria Vinka for Ikea and no longer in production.  It is made from the waste from a banana tree, hand-woven over a metal frame.  It is also stackable (with another same chair).  
The chair rocks slightly yet is sturdy and stable.
This is in superb condition.  I have checked for any faults or defects and the only one I can find is right at the left hand base corner where a small piece of banana leaf has worn away (shown in last picture).
